Xi'an Xian'yang International Airport(IATA: XIY) is located 35km northwest of Xian city centre, the capital of China's Shaanxi Province. It is the largest airport in Northwest China and seventh largest airport in China. By 2019, it's handled 47,393,000 passenger trips, 329,000 departures and arrivals, and 320 thousands metric tons of cargo and mail annually.

There are three terminals, Terminal 1 that reused in 2017, Terminal 2 that opened in 2003 and Terminal 3 that opened in 2012. Covering an area of 5 square kilometres, Xian airport has one 3800 metres runway and one 3000 metres runway.
